Zar is currently an Advisory Application Developer at a leading Canadian bank. She holds a Master of Engineering Physics from Yangon University, an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from Oxford University, and a Diploma in IT Support Services from Sheridan College.

 

Her career began in Myanmar as an IT Instructor and Programmer before transitioning to Canada, where she has held roles such as Business Systems Analyst and Senior Application Developer in the banking sector. She has also gained valuable experience in diverse industries, including the Canadian Red Cross, transportation, database management, and photo processing.

 

Passionate about giving back to community, she is passionate about promoting multiculturalism and Asian culture and heritage in both Canada and Myanmar. She is also actively involved in community initiatives that support Myanmar humanitarian efforts, breast cancer research, and local food banks.
